Gaspeite Stone

Gaspeite is a beautiful stone that ranges in color from light green to apple green to neon green. Some variations may contain brown patches which give this stone a distinctive character. Gaspeite, which wasn't discovered until 1966,  is a relatively rare mineral found around nickel sulfide deposits. It is named after the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec, Canada, which is the place this stone was originally found.

Gaspeite has no known folklore although the Aborigine's used it to bring good fortune. It is thought to be a stone that reduces stress as well as aid with heart, gallbladder, and lung problems. It is also said to bring spirituality into every day.
